(We fade in and find ourselves looking at the “One Man Crime Spree” himself, looking beaten...battered...and still unbroken despite the events of Kingdom Come when his team came out the winners of the match. He is leaning against a stone fence somewhere out in the world)
Reno:
Kingdom Come has come and gone, and my body aches so deliciously that I find it somewhat reassuring that I’m still able to get the job done no matter what the cost in the end.
But the only thing that actually bothers me isn’t how the match went down...it’s the fact that two pathetic little nuggets HAVE MY TAG TEAM *TITLES*!!!
(Reno’s face suddenly explodes into a look of complete and total rage as he says that before he fights to throttle back on his rage to regain his composure as he runs his hands over his head and slowly shakes his head at the camera)
Reno:
But that will be addressed in the fullness of time, because the Wild Cards are not the ones to be counted out quite yet and this week on Dominion...Red Zone...you two little bitches need to be watching very closely to what’s about to happen because the *REAL* Campeonatos de Parejas of Wrestleworld in myself and Nobi are going to be enjoying ourselves this week on Dominion as we take on three other teams to show you two bitches who the real KINGS of the tag team division around here are.
Because while the two of you LUCKED into that match at Kingdom Come, Nobi and I will show you what SKILL really looks like as we take on not one, not two, but THREE teams in order to prove our point.
(Reno’s face slowly breaks out into a smile as he nods slowly in agreement with his words)
Reno:
Now I could run down all three of our opposing teams for the show in Axel Topnotch and Emmanuelle, Miyojin and Nathan Quinn, and Red Riot and Joel Dante but when you boil everything down to their bases components, not one of these three teams that will be standing across the ring from myself and Nobi has any real experience working together...they’ve just been thrown together like the world’s strangest pizza.
I, for one, am completely fine with that because I have spent my entire career facing off against the unexpected...time and time again, various promoters have thought that they were clever enough to throw some kind of random new talent in my way and time and time again, that randomness was fed into the grinder that I turn the crank on and once again, at Dominion nonetheless, I turn that crank again and again with Nobi by my side because just like I told him after our match back at King of the World...we will become even stronger than the other teams on this roster, and we will prove why we are the toughest duo because when you boil things right down...when you combine the pure wrestling skills of the White Knight and the One Man Crime Spree...add in that potent mixture that is Nobi’s sheer dedication and my experience...and finally mix that bitch all together, you have perhaps the truly greatest tag team in all of Wrestleworld.
(The smile then disappears from Reno’s face as he pushes off of the stone fence, starting to slowly shake his head as he does so)
Reno:
But then again I hear some of you out there asking me “well what about Nobi’s focus on the Professional?” to which I can honestly say that whether his issues with the Professional or not, Nobi’s head will be in the match this week and I have every confidence in my partner. Yes, there has been some issues with that masked little shit in the past but that is just where it is-in the past.
You see that is what separates myself and Nobi from all of our opponents in this match-we’ve been working together for months. Busting our asses in and out of that ring to get our timing down right on each and every time that we went out there to prove why we are the future of this division and we share a common dedication to the SPORT of professional wrestling.
You see the real irony is that not only are Drake and Jones to thank for their part in bringing me and Nobi together as a team, but Claudia Michaels as well since she was the one who created that bloody ladder match that I would go onto to win for my first shot at her.
You see what people seem to forget about that very match is the way that Nobi and I instinctively worked together to hit several tandem moves that would go onto be the very bases of some of our best moves in the ring, all Drake and Jones did, despite try to tease and torment Nobi, was to help further the seeds because right when they thought that nobody had his back….I stepped up, and I stepped up because I saw something in Nobi that Chris Morton saw in me over twenty years ago back in the Insane Wrestling Federation.
I didn’t see championships or money.
I saw a man who I could work magic with in the ring.
And that is greater than any championships or money because that kind of partner comes only once in an entire lifetime and I was thankful to get it twice, first with Chris Morton and then a second time with Nobi!
So, to all our opponents at Dominion this week. Make sure that you are good and ready because Nobi and I will be coming with nothing but our best and that is something none of you can even remotely touch.
As for you two fucks, the “Red Zone”...
(Reno gives the camera a rather dark smile, something that is natural to him as breathing)
Reno:
Red Zone, pay real close attention because you’re about to see what a real tag team can do in that squared circle.
So start shining our belts up for us boys, we’ll be coming for them soon enough.
(Reno then tosses a salute to the camera and starts to walk away as the camera pulls back on the retreating form of Reno as the screen slowly fades to black)
