Dreamworld carries within the name a chance to realize the dream held within our very souls, but what is the dream I hold for Wrestleworld as its reigning and defending Shogun Champion?
Everyone has a dream they aspire to hold and at the beginning of my tenure within Wrestleworld, I had the dream to be a pillar for this company in the terms of founding another aspect of an alternative to the vast wrestling industry to thrive and flourish for all who had decided to stake their claim in this business. I carried the dream within my heart to make sure this place had the foundation for others to reach their dream of becoming a champion, transforming into the legendary names to be storied for generations to come, and achieve the greatest desires that their heart truly wished. I desired the opportunity to start this company off right with one of the greatest matches that could have ever graced the Wrestleworld environment with myself competing against Brian Daniels for the right to be declared the first person to hold this championship and begin to raise the value and prestige of the title. Those were my dreams, my passions, and what drove me to be a person to sign a contract here in Wrestleworld. What happened to that? People, the business, and life. Life doesn’t care about your dreams at the end of the day. The people who are within these walls in Wrestleworld don’t care about your passions. The industry as a whole doesn’t value what keeps you driven and determined to put your body through the most hellacious and brutal punishment they can put you through. They only care about the money that lines their pockets, the championship glories for those they have deemed worthy to carry these championships, and stars that they have created and made into the idols for those within this business to worship without a second thought. The business had placed their hope and their support not within the man who had been battle-tested, who had taken himself through the rigors of this sport to become the legendary name he had been known for throughout the entire landscape of professional wrestling no matter the company or country he performed in, they went with the person who had manipulated his way to the point of getting the spotlight cast down upon them. That’s what has driven me to this point because this is what the next generation of talent has started to become. Every moment I turn around and I see this happen, moments snatched away underneath me because of someone that the business has decided was more of a valuable investment to the company than someone who has given their entire life to this business, who dedicated themselves to the advancement and progress of the professional wrestling world at the expense of all the riches and glory he could ever have wanted within the halls of Elite. I saw the people who had given me these promises of what I had desired, who had told me the dreams I had for the wrestling world and myself would be realized with no exceptions, these were the very same people who attempted to drive me away from the business I devoted myself to for other men who hadn’t pledged themselves to this business in the same manner I did. People who created their own families and life outside of this, who spent their time away from this business to forge the picture they imagined for themselves, but I didn’t to be the person that stands before you today. That’s when I had come to realize that the original dream I had crafted and imagined for Wrestleworld, the entire industry itself to be truthful with you, it was a dream that couldn’t be realized and had to die. Not just die, but be replaced with a dream not as grandiose and revered in the eyes of others who would hear it. A dream created in contrast to the one I had at the start of my journey here and had devolved into the one it has become now. This dream is not one of creation or progress for this business, not one of glory and prestige to be had for this place, but it is one of nothing but pure destruction and chaos to be unleashed upon Wrestleworld.
After I had heard the words of Arata Asakura in his declaration of his championship glory at Dreamworld and his thoughts leading up to what I would hope to be our final confrontation, there was one thing he had said that caught my attention among other things throughout his little story he documented. “This place has been absorbed by chaos since the championship was in Jacob Senn’s possession”; those were the words used by Arata to describe the state of Wrestleworld upon my crowning as Shogun Champion. You stated chaos has absorbed Wrestleworld since the Shogun Championship has been within my clutches, but this has been by design and not by chance. This new dream of destruction that I harbor within my black heart, the wish for the end of Wrestleworld as you currently know it today through the complete and utter chaos taking hold with every passing day that I continue to hold this Shogun Championship in my possession in defiance of the current order established today, it has all been in the design of the things that have transpired since then. Everyone wants to believe that this is simply happenstance, a coincidence that has been made once I snatched away what should have belonged to me from the very moment I signed my name to the dotted line of a Wrestleworld contract as promised, but I have become the architect of annihilation and the agent of chaos against Wrestleworld to reduce the current establishment created into cinders. Chaos is a force that doesn’t hold any bias or judgment such as those who are in power within the management fold of Wrestleworld, the ones who have cast disdainful glares towards me and praised jubilation towards Arata, but one whose anarchistic intent is simply just. Chaos will be the driving force of the eradication of the way things are around here in Wrestleworld, demolish those of the new generation AND the old generation who decide to support such sickening displays of weakness until there is nothing left and the formation of a new foundation to have this company built upon can begin. See, I’m not like this new generation of talent that has come into the fold within Wrestleworld, Strong Style Wrestling, Omega Wrestling Alliance, throughout the industry entirely. I didn’t have the privilege of being able to simply take what has been built by men like me before him, who put himself through the trials and tribulations of the decade past to create, but I was the one who put in the work and drove this industry to these heights he takes such advantage of. Before any of these talents ever graced a television screen, a computer screen, an arena, or a spotlight, I had forged my name into the annals of history and created a foundation that should have never been broken. I proved I should have been the investment for any company to be able to put their money where their mouth is, to stake it upon them and let the world watch as the glory and prestige rose to heights never dreamed of, but this generation? This selfish generation that proceeds to manipulate and slither their way through the tall grass like the pit vipers they are, they haven’t proven their worth the investment that has been given to them. They’ve not created anything with their own hands, instilled the true confidence that they are worth the time and value everyone has decided to stake into them, but here we are. You’ve staked your claim with them and now when chaos has surrounded your industries when all of these worlds you have started to burn down with clouds of smoke billowing in the air to darken the skies above, where are these idols and stars you’ve put everything behind? At Dreamworld, you’ll find out exactly where they will be when I’m finished with them.
For I’m not the coward that hides behind others to be able to give them what they want or hand them this or that, I’m a true warrior of the old guard who takes exactly what he wants at the right opportunities he needs it. I mean, it’s the whole reason for my vehement hatred for Arata Asakura throughout our entire little history here. He represents the new generation, a prime and perfect example of everything that is wrong with them because he has been handed everything while the rest of us have had to earn everything. I know everyone would like to believe I stole this Shogun Championship from Arata, that I truly don’t deserve this because of the manner of which I won it, but just because I struck your hero from behind and took what should have belonged to me, to begin with, doesn’t mean I didn’t earn this championship. I might have not given you have five-star classic to be able to laud over everyone as some match of the year contender to marvel at, something to guarantee and make sure to the entire world that I certainly do deserve this championship, but if you watched my entire journey through Wrestleworld there would be no doubt in your mind I have earned and deserved this championship. I didn’t have Brian Daniels, Jaywalker, or Jaydayne Pendragon hand me a championship opportunity when I got here, I had to trudge through the thick mire of wrestling filth to be able to even have a glance or a sniff at the Shogun Championship. I had to go through a blonde parasite of a woman and endure one of the worst moments of humiliation with her at our first event, have a chance for redemption at the very next chapter of this promotion, all to simply get my name in the hat. I had to fight through the King of the World tournament to only be met with the bitter disappointment of failing to make it to the finals to earn my spot in the Feast or Fallen match because of the performance I have given in those matches up to my defeat. I had to earn the opportunity to use the Emerald Briefcase against Arata Asakura by going through ten other people in the Feast of the Fallen match to claim what belonged to me and prove my point that this new generation doesn’t hold a candle to what I can do in the ring. Even after I earned that case, everyone continued to doubt me and with that, I disposed of all the pretenders who wanted to take the case away from me. Everyone can continue to despise me all they want, place their hatred and blame upon me for everything wrong in the world for them, but you can’t deny that I earned this championship that rests on my shoulder. Anyone else who took the journey I would have taken, any other person who would have climbed the ladder of championship glory the way that I did to get to this point, the world would have praised them. Management would have honored them and fully supported them in what they did and patted them on the back, maybe even given them a champion’s purse for their victory and then some, but I didn’t get that. I didn’t receive the standing ovation at the end of the night when I put down the thief who stole what he should have never had, I didn’t get the praise and honor that came with being a champion at the end of the night, but that’s what has become expected. I expected your disdain, I expected the hatred of all surrounding me because you’ve been led astray for far too long that when your idol was toppled there was no other reaction to be proper for you. Arata fell and you panicked because you saw the life of Wrestleworld flash before your eyes as you should, but don’t expect a hero’s return. Don’t expect the rise of Arata to claim his throne once more because the truth is he’s done. Finished. For he didn’t get where he was through a hard-fought journey, he was handed it and that’s what sickens me about him and Wrestleworld.
Arata Asakura, you’ve become the patron saint of Wrestleworld in the eyes of not only these people, but some of your peers within the roster see you as such. They see that you have honor, you have prestige, and you have respect for this business to the point of everyone flocking around you to give you whatever you want when you ask for it. Do you want a championship match against Brian Daniels in the third chapter of Wrestleworld? Fine! Have it! Do you want to face Jaydayne Pendragon for the championship? Go right ahead! You want to be in the King of the World tournament as champion AND get a bye? Why not? Everything you have ever gained in this business, every accolade and honor you have attached to your name in Wrestleworld, it has all been handed to you on a golden platter for you to feast upon. You didn’t earn it, you didn’t go through the struggles I had to go through to get what you wanted, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg between us. No, you had to place yourself with Brian Daniels from the start of this promotion in not only challenging him but being the main cause of his destruction in this business at the hands of Tiberius Jones and Drake Jaeger while you sat around and did absolutely nothing for him. So, while you were getting the opportunities I was supposed to have, I had to deal with the insurmountable pressure and frustration being placed upon my shoulder by another spoiled child of this new generation of talent by being some “Life Coach” for Chad Kennedy. Throughout every single moment, throughout every idiotic second of dealing with this spoon-fed brat that had nothing to his name but the money from his father, I had a glimmer of hope when I had the opportunity to challenge you for the championship at Violent Ends. I really did then believe that I would have beaten you, but in hindsight, I should have known defeat would have come from me because I had everything with Chad Kennedy upon my shoulders and with that weight upon me, you got the opportunity to leave me defeated and bitter once again. Chad Kennedy was deterring me from proving myself once and for all in Wrestleworld as the rightful Shogun Champion and that’s why he had to be dealt with and when it was all said and done, I took care of the leech that was sucking the blood out of me and preventing me from reaching the pinnacle of this company that I had wished to reach in becoming Shogun Champion. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, but eventually, I had gotten what I wanted in another opportunity through the Emerald Briefcase and became the new Shogun Champion by doing exactly what you did to me at the start of Wrestleworld: stealing the championship right out from under you. You can call it karma, poetic justice, providence, whatever you want to call it to make yourself sleep better at night, but do you want to know what I call it? Inevitable. This moment where I had taken the thing you had made most precious to you and allowed you to reap what you sow for all you did at the start of this promotion by taking from me, it was fate it would have happened in a mirror image of what you had done to me. That’s what makes it different between you and me, doesn’t it? You expected Wrestleworld to give you whatever you wanted because it had treated it in that manner, continuing to have the opportunities just delivered to you with no hesitation, letting the world give you anything you desired. Me, on the other hand? I’ve had to take what I wanted and I took what I wanted on that night against you in Kingdom Come and Dreamworld? It will be no different.
All of this is why Dreamworld will serve as the final resting place for the dream you have of becoming Shogun Champion once again and having any other opportunity of facing me for this title, Arata. You were afforded the chance to defeat Brian Daniels and Jaydayne Pendragon through the work of Jaywalker when I wasn’t afforded any chances, I had to earn them. You were handed championship opportunities and tournament byes as if they were nothing to the world when I was made to fight against the grime and sludge of this business in Chad Kennedy and Chloe Leuthard which proved to be nothing but a waste of my time instead of moments to highlight as me being an investment to this company. The entire business hoisted you upon their shoulders to carry you to The Promised Land of wrestling and make you into the icon and face of this company that you have become with the very short list of accomplishments you have gathered in your time here, but me? I had become vilified and hated since the very first introduction I had into Wrestleworld, even when I attempted to be the shining pillar of what a champion should be in this business at the beginning, and not once did I get the red carpet treatment in this business like you have gotten even with the background of over a decade of achievements to pale yours in comparison. You haven’t been given the struggles and rigors of this business to create the true grit to push you past the limits of your body to be the man standing at the end of the night with the championship in your possession. You haven’t endured the bottoms of this business as you have only been at the greatest highs until I took this championship from you and that’s what separates me from you. That’s the difference that will make it be known at Dreamworld when you are given the harshest reality check of where you are going to be from now on, you’ll be struck with the realization of what my journey has given me in contrast to what lethargic handouts have given you. With everything about Chad Kennedy put aside and no more distractions to keep me from doing what I need to do in defeating you at Dreamworld, I’ll prove once and for all that this new generation is the disease I have presented it as. The parasites leeching everything we have worked so damn hard to create with nothing being done to preserve the foundation we have laid out for them to trample upon so nonchalantly. This will finally be put to an end with you being the first of many victims to be claimed through the culling set to take place in Wrestleworld, the destruction of this generation and the ones who support them, all to bring an end to the false temple of hope and dreams that has been created here. Wrestleworld had the opportunity to be just that, to be the paradise of a wrestling utopia they had hoped for it to be, but they succumbed to the siren song of what you were offering unto them. They succumbed to their personal bias instead of the common sense to take hold of making the face of Wrestleworld a man that wasn’t some unproven manipulator who played the entire system like a fiddle, but a man who was proven time and time again to be a commodity for those who placed him on top of the mountain as their world champion to carry the banner of this business. Unfortunately for you, the man who would have done that for you has died and his blood is on your hands, Wrestleworld. Not yours, but Arata’s. Violent Ends was the day that the man who wanted to bring the best out of Wrestleworld died and the man you see before you, the ghost destined to haunt you for the rest of your days, was brought into this world. This man that has been born from the deeds you have done throughout your Wrestleworld career, Arata, alongside the generation you are a part of will expose that difference between us at Dreamworld and let it be known who truly deserves this champion and the true thief among us.
That’s what you’ve called me time and time again, right? A coward and a thief who stole your championship because I was utilizing the opportunity presented to me and the tools I had earned that were at my disposal to reclaim what was stolen from me. That’s what you have preached to the sheep who have decided to follow you and our peers who have committed to this message you have declared along with you, but I would go to say that you’re the one who had begun the cycle of theft and cowardice yourself as your generation would certainly prove to take advantage of in this industry. I know that you would emphatically disagree with that statement, but the evidence is all right there and has already been discussed through your actions leading up into becoming the first-ever Shogun Champion. You put yourself into a situation to goad Brian Daniels into a championship match instead of earning the opportunity to challenge for that championship like you should have, like I was forced to do, and thus showed that you were willing to steal the opportunities you wanted for yourself. Instead of rescuing Brian Daniels from his grisly demise from Wrestleworld at the hands of Tiberius Jones and Drake Jaeger, you sat idly by in the background and simply watched as these events unfolded instead of being the heroic savior in the image you have created for yourself, showing the cowardice you decide to point your finger towards me for. Finally, you have used your natural charisma you have with your silver tongue to slither your way into the good graces of Wrestleworld with Jaydayne Pendragon and Jaywalker to have everything you have ever wanted from Wrestleworld to simply be given unto you because you are Arata Asakura and you deserve it, showing more of your manipulative nature into stealing what you want from people like me who have earned their way to get the chance to be known as Shogun Champion. Now, here you are again and what did you do to get this opportunity against me? You didn’t earn it, you didn’t defeat ten people to get this opportunity, you didn’t defeat a single person to be named the number one contender, it was just given to you because someone felt pity for you in what I did to take my championship back from you. Pity. I almost share the same feeling for you in you have never earned a single opportunity or accolade you have gotten in Wrestleworld, but then I remember what you have said and done to me along with who you are. When you decided to cast those insults towards me, you know that you weren’t talking about me, but you were looking in the mirror and speaking about yourself. Wrestleworld’s true coward and thief is the one who is honored and revered above all else here in this business and with that, it has brought a sickening pit to my stomach for that to be the case and why Wrestleworld with the bias it has for men like you needs destruction to be brought to its doorstep once and for all. At Dreamworld as I have mentioned before, you will be the first casualty in the war against not only Wrestleworld but the industry as a whole. A sacrifice and lasting image to the world of what the future holds for them, how Jacob Senn has been transformed from the man they had hoped would build this promotion into a monolithic bastion of wrestling excellence into the avatar of annihilation and chaos beyond their wildest imaginations, and the broken and beaten husks of men within the roster who will be left at the wayside after the brutal carnage brought to them. Dreamworld, an event meant to realize the dreams of those who had high aspirations for their careers and the business itself, will serve as the first tombstone of many in the new mausoleum of the dead in Wrestleworld. Arata, the differences are glaring and evident between both of us and I must say, it shows that you will be left in defeat when the bell rings at Dreamworld. With all of this said, you need to admit where things have gone wrong and what went wrong for you was crossing me. Wrestleworld went wrong by associating themselves and supporting you for what you did. This industry had gone wrong by choosing the next generation of talent to trample over everything we had created for them instead of letting those who gave their entire lives to this business triumph with one last stand in the end. No matter what, I will fight to the bitter end to make sure my dream is realized, and what is my dream?
If you have to ask, then you haven’t been paying attention.
