Rise of the True Ronin

{Scene Start: The camera starts up and we see Jacob Striker, sitting seiza somewhere in the Wrestleworld Dojo, quietly reflecting on something before he slowly opens his eyes and looks into the camera with a faint smirk}

Jacob:
Sometimes total silence can be a blessing, it allows one to be alone with their thoughts and focus things into a razor sharp point...you cannot ride away from yourself in the silence.

That is until the screams begin.

I thought that by laying our the reality of the situation to my opponents in the territorial match that they would see and understand how utterly pointless it would be for them to even try to stand against someone who actually understands the truth behind the championship...and I thought that by showing them this reality that it would soften the blow for them.

Note that neither Joel nor Danse have chosen to argue this point because they get it...they understand.

The other two...Myojin and TJ...they simply.just.don't.get.it.

{Jacob closes his eyes and takes a deep, calming breath as he reposition himself}

Jacob:
Myojin for instance thinks that he will make Dominion a brighter place by his mere presence, as well as he thinks that I’m not incredibly bright because I choose to lay down the facts of the matter rather than indulge in his childish whims.

Yes, Myojin. I know of your so called “MMA experience”...but I simply chose to ignore it because you are a non-factor in this match and you must realize that the moment that I see you in that match, I’m going to slap the shine right out of your thin skull before I end your childish dreams of being anything more than a glorified ham and egger, Myojin.

I did not come here to this match to play at wrestling like you do, no...I came here to claim what is rightfully mine and at Rise of the Ronin, you are going to learn this the hard way...mock me if you wish, but understand that just like so many other people have done recently, you do that at your own risk.

{Jacob takes another deep breath, almost like he is trying to stay calm}

Jacob:
“Bland”, my dear Myojin...you are aware that if I was as “bland” as you claim that I am then why am I in such high demand while nobody has ever heard of you?

I am a “tough guy” as you have put it because I work hard at being my chosen art and that is professional wrestling, it is something that I have dreamed of doing since I was a child and now I do it for a living...and in this sport you have to be a tough guy to survive the kinds of wars that I’ve been through thus far that you could only dream of being in.

So when you’ve stood toe to toe with some of the toughest bastards that this sport has to offer and walked out the survivor, then and only then come and talk to me...until then know your place at *MY* table and shut the fuck up.

Now enough about the useless pretty boy...and onto the joker.

{Jacob’s jaw clenches as he tries to keep his calm before he takes one more deep breath and let’s it out in equal measures before speaking}

Jacob:
Just when I thought that I had heard the most ignorant of uninformed things come out of a person’s mouth in Mjojin’s little “promo”...but you just had to prove me wrong, didn’t you TJ?

Somehow in my telling of the God's honest truth, you came up with this thing that I was born in a vat? Seriously, that was the best that you could come up with on such short notice...to be honest, I fully expected you to actually try and come up with something much more creative but instead you went the other way completely and simply mired yourself in more of your own stupidity.

But just like Myojin, you have this childish little fantasy that you’re good enough to beat me and become the Territorial champion, you honestly think that it’s your fucking time and that you can just take it because you’re some fucking barnyard animal.

The truth of the matter is, TJ, is that neither you nor Myojin are good enough to be in the same ring as me and neither one of you have had the levels of successes the past year *alone* that I have because you’re more focused on the prize but you lack what is truly needed to become the champion:

The *DESIRE*.

Myojin wants it as a prop, something that he can hold up and claim that he’s actually done something with his career other than just take up space of someone, hell ANYone more successful than some pretty boy who thinks that he can make it a full year in this industry that I’ve given my life to.

And you, TJ, you want it because you simply want the money from it and nothing else. The title means nothing to you other than a couple of extra K when Jaywalker sends out the paychecks while you’re the champion.

Neither one of you two pedantic twats have any real grasp on what it would mean to be the Territorial champion...but I do.

I do because like I have said before, I take my chosen art very seriously and I have been trained by the best in the world in how to do it and plus I have the drive to do what is needed to ensure my victory because I have the desire to make my dream of championship victory a reality.

I’m not some bland little pretty boy who feels put out each and every time someone points out that I’m not a real wrestler like you, Myojin. Nor am I a pathetic little wanker of a comedian who couldn’t say something funny if my fucking life depended on it, TJ.

No, at Rise of the Ronin...all four of you are going to be witness to the real Ronin around here, a Ronin that will one day become Shogun and there will be nothing that any one of you can do to stop it from happening.

But you all will be the first to witness my ascension as the first Wrestleworld Territorial champion.

{Jacob then raises to his feet effortlessly before cracking a dark smile at the camera}

Jacob:
Because, Gentlemen, I’m going to have my cake and fucking eat yours’ too. And there is not a damned thing that you can do to stop me.

Oh and Myojin, what I am isn’t “bland” and “unintelligent”.

{Jacob then stands straight and tall, with his hands clasped as the small of his back as he fixes the camera with a hard smile}

Jacob:
This is how a real wrestler looks, how a real professional does business because Die Matte ist heilig, Myojin. The mat is sacred and people like you and TJ have besmirched it long enough.

The time for talking is over, brace yourselves for the hell that is to come.
