Cero Miedo #1: The Backbone of Wrestleworld.
28.02.21 Wrestleworld Arena
*A lot of crazy stuff happened tonight, but the climax was the match that Arata participated in alongside Chris Sabertooth and the two others, who could not be called anything other than enemies. Perhaps earlier, during the confrontation of former first American Dream Champion, Stephanie Matsuda, with one of the children of the Devastation family, the clash at Cero Miedo was announced. However, the moment Animus and Layne put their hands on them during the main event of the show was like a declaration of war. Perhaps it was a good thing that it was about to happen, because all of them had had enough of everything. Both the side that Japanese man was at and their rivals who thought they could take control of Wrestleworld with ease. Well, neither Arata nor Stephanie and Chris were going to let that happen. Especially since, it was not only a good chance to defend what they created from the very beginning as the first champions of their divisions, but also to show these three where their true place is. However, it cannot be denied that although the goal was clear, and they did not even have to use words to know it, they were also accompanied by emotions. Constant attacks, humiliation and betrayals were what rooted in them a kind of repugnance towards these people. Therefore, Arata, under the influence of emotions, decided not to wait any longer and tell them what he had to say right away.*
*The shot opens in the locker room, with the view of the former two-time champion, sitting on a steel chair in the center of the room. Arata is wearing black leather pants and ring boots as he just got here after the match that took place some time ago. The man sits bent forward, resting his forearms on his knees. Before he starts speaking, Arata runs his fingers through the wet strands of blonde hair. While his face seems calm, the tone of his voice clearly shows that he is not very pleased. At first, what might be called a short, ironic laugh breaks out of his mouth, but in a split second it turns into a monologue.*
I've never been stupid enough to believe that Layne and Animus will be on our side, even for their own benefit, but what happened tonight is still nothing more than some bad joke. All that goddamn tag team match was some stupid shit that only made it easier for them to attack us again. Of course, none of you care, because those fucking Architects only take care of what they want at the moment. That's why these three morons have a free hand in their antics. However, they do not realize that this will never be without consequences. This is the mindset that will drag them to the very bottom. All these weeks of disrespect won't be forgotten, and we'll finally get the vengeance we deserve. As you can see, we don't even have to wait long, as in two weeks at Cero Miedo they will not be able to rely on the element of surprise. This time, everyone on our side will be ready for what is going to happen and only then you will know the true power of Pillars of Wrestleworld.
*Arata runs his hand over his face until he reaches the hairline. Moments later he looks back in the direction of the camera and continues what he started.*
You three are not even stupid, but your too big egos and complexes are covering the reality for you. Therefore, if you took your heads out of your asses for just a moment, you would notice that this whole war is not in your favor. You can treat me, Chris and Cloud as past, but it doesn't change the fact that without our work Wrestleworld would not have been so successful around the world. It is thanks to our effort that this company was built so well, that people like you can enjoy the spotlight. The pillars must be the strongest for a reason. They have to handle the shit tone of bullshit that the next champions or the potential ones do. Therefore, targeting something that has been, is and will always be the backbone of a company is simply stupid. Especially since neither of you is able to deal with the position we are in from the very beginning. The thing is, even if we are somehow the past of this place, we are also the present and the future. None of the three of us is nowhere near retirement, and most of all, we all know we want more from this place than we've earned so far. You see, for people like us, there is simply no way to draw a line that would end our journey. We are the type of competitors who can have the whole world and always want more. That's why I can be a former two time champion, but that doesn't mean that I can't be looking ahead and seeing myself with few more reigns. It is a hunger for success and, in a way, a responsibility for this company that cannot be killed by just a bunch of posers. That's why I'm not worried about our team. I know Cloud and Chris are professional and competent enough, that we can destroy you without the slightest problem. I would say that you are at a disadvantage. You see, these are the ramifications of trying to climb the ladder and reach a level that you are not at. If you don't belong here, they will not accept you, and the higher you go, the more it will hurt to fall. In short, the bar is too high for you.
A bar that some of you will never reach unless conditions are favorable to you. Here, you can guess who I'm talking about. Namely, about this parody of the champion. Ever since you came back, you started pissing everyone off, Allesandro, but that was the only way for anyone to notice you and the title that you stole. Otherwise, it would lose all its prestige, because no one gives a fuck about a rich kid who is in the business only thanks to his father's money and contacts, and completely lacks talent at the same time. Let's be clear, you were lucky to put your hands on this briefcase, otherwise you wouldn't even get close enough to look at the American Dream Championship. Especially since all last season you were just Claudia Michaels' stupid dog and Alyssa Grace' persecutor to such an extent that the girl left the company. For just being such a goddamn creep, they should have kicked your bitch ass out, but I'm guessing your daddy wrote a check with a satisfactory amount of money. Either way, no one has ever seen a superstar, while looking at you. You were one of many who would like to be someone great, but it was beyond your possibilities. Honestly, that's still the case. Just because you grew a beard and changed your last name doesn't change the fact that you're still some pussy bitch, Allesandro. You're a coward who picked a jobber for his first defense, because you knew you could end up crying otherwise if Cloud were the first in line. This time your ass was saved by Drake & Jones, which I don't understand, because like the rest of the championship, you should defend the belt, but as you can see company tries to protect you at all costs, so as not to lose good contacts with your father. The thing is, they can't do it forever, and you'll eventually have to take a step on your own. This actually speaks for itself. It's only a matter of time before your American dream turns into a nightmare, Allesandro. Until now, you can keep telling yourself it's your company and blah, blah, blah. Nobody takes it seriously anyway, because this whole tyrant story is just your own imagination. Nobody is afraid of you or respects you as a champion. For everyone, you are just an option to easily win the title. We will see who will be lucky enough to be first. Either way, this person will surely bring back the prestige that you take away from it. It is a really sad and pathetic time for the American Dream Championship, but everything has its ups and downs. You too, cunt.
You may think that at this point you are untouchable and can do whatever you want, but in two weeks you will find out that your attempts to attract attention at our expense were not the wisest move. I don't know where the idea came from in your head to stick your nose in my and Chris's business, but this way you make a list of people who, if only to wipe this smile from your face, will take the belt away from you. I personally do not care much about this championship. No offense to Cloud. After all, I just have my preferences, but if only to see you cry, I would love to kick your ass and add an AD belt to my list of achievements. You see, Allesandro, you have this title, because the contract was your only salvation, I can have it because I have such a whim. Therefore, if I were you, I would rethink what you are actually doing, because you make mistake after mistake. You create a path for yourself that will lead you to poverty and despair. For a loser like you, even a rich dad will not be enough of help to bring you back on the top.
However, since I have already mentioned the word "father", then naturally I must refer to Animus. If someone has been looking at our whole situation in recent months, this reference will not be strange for them. It is obvious that, both as Raoul and after wearing the mask, he saw his father's reflection in me all the time. The only difference is that in the first case he was looking for what he had not experienced in his childhood. Namely warmth, caring and paternal love. Whereas in the second situation he decided to take revenge on me for the failures of his previous life and for the fact that I had rejected him as well. As I have said many times. I even feel sorry for him that his father underestimated him because of genetic traits that he had no influence on. On the other hand, why should I bear the consequences of him being a bad person? Perhaps I rejected Raoul, but I was under no obligation to be friends with him, just because he wanted to. Everyone knows that a cheerful bunch of people is not what I am looking for in this industry, and the fact that I have become a candidate for his soul mate is only his fault. I have made him understand many times that I am not interested. He kept coming back, and I finally started to ignore him. What happened next? He just betrayed me out of nowhere. I understand that everyone gets emotional sometimes, but I still think his hostility towards me is unfounded. Especially since, it could be done in a completely different way. If, instead of pretending to be a goddamn clown, he would just come and talk to me honestly, maybe I would take him to my dojo. Perhaps I could help him become more valuable in the eyes of the wrestling world. However, instead of doing it with my help, he chose to achieve this goal at my expense. Although I don't think that was his main aim, because looking at his actions over the last few months, he cares more about punishing me than about his own career. The way his father treated him as a child has left a scar on his brain, that makes him be fucking obsessed with anyone who doesn't want him in their lives. It seems to him that this is how he heals his wounded heart, but in fact he starts reminding the man he hates so much. As they say, evil is genetic. It makes some sense, because while Raoul and his father's behavior are directed in different directions, they are still based on selfish beliefs that hurt innocent people.
The worst thing about all of this is that this way leads him to self-destruction and at some point there will be no turning back. Animus has become so lost in his perception of the world that he is able to hurt himself in the process of taking revenge on others. How else can you call his participation in our match at Cero Miedo? None of us is going to hold back, and since the rules, or rather the lack of them, are favorable, it may end badly for him. As long as I am not a supporter of excessive violence, my mercy is over. Perhaps I should have come to this conclusion, when you were bowing down in front of me like a worm at By the Sword, when I ripped off your mask, Animus. You were so afraid to show your real face one more time that you let yourself be humiliated by someone you despise so much. The thing is, you're not even afraid of them seeing your face, Animus, you're self-embarrassed. You know that deep down, you are still a little boy unloved by your father, who needs some care of another person. That's why, you cannot look at your own face. That's why you took on the role of executioner. That's why, hatred has become your greatest weaponry. However, you have no idea how easy it is to die from your own weapon.
*The Japanese man shakes his head with obvious disapproval. The man takes a deep breath and exhales loudly, then continues his speech.*
At the end, what is left is Layne Driver, who is basically the type of person I truly hate. Perhaps we don't have much history, except that he's been like a pain in the ass lately. But the very fact that he thinks he is owed something for who he is, simply disgusts me. What is worse, he not only showed up, attacked Cloud and demanded a title shot. He fucking got it through some stupid Twitter voting. Of course, Claudia didn't care about the results, because sabotaging Stephanie had become her new favorite activity. The problem is, that it shouldn't be like that. Layne has done absolutely nothing, but being a complete jerk. Maybe I shouldn't complain, because I myself have a habit of finding myself quickly in the spotlight. The thing is, in my case, Brian Daniels just saw in me someone, who is worth entrusting the whole division. While Layne refused to wait for his turn and pushed himself in front of everyone else. He is still a better option than Allesandro, because we all know how dominant champion he can be after looking at his past. However, that doesn't change the fact that, giving him the title shot immediately was disrespectful to the rest of the roster. It was literally shitting at their hard work. I know neither Claudia nor Layne himself cares, because he believes it should be like that. Well, surprise, this shouldn't have happened, but it has already taken place and we can't do anything about that. Claudia patted his head, but Cloud slapped the living shit out of him. The point is, that alone is not enough to teach him to give up on this manner. After all, even a dog does not give up certain habits when you spray water on it once. Therefore, the match at Cero Miedo can be really helpful in this case. It will be a good demonstration for him of what awaits him, when his actions piss off people who appreciate hard work...people who will not like the fact that he gets something served on a silver platter without effort. But above all, he has to stand in front of people, who are not used to being behind such a piece of shit like Layne.
This battle is not only to show you where your place is, but also to make everyone understand that fucking around with Pillars is huge mistake. We are the best that company has to offer on our own, and together we create a force hard to beat. Of course, I don't want anyone to get it wrong. We are no World's Finest 2.0, because I am not interested in being someone's cheerleader in the long run. I'm here because we have a common enemy with Cloud and Chris, and it's best to get rid of them as soon as possible. It's a bit like the plague. If you don't kill it in the blink of an eye, it will spread to such an extent that it will be impossible to get rid of this. That's what the three of them are trying to do. Not only do they present the worst qualities, but they also have no idea what they are doing, which is an easy direction to bigger chaos. In this way, they will lead to the downfall of Wrestleworld and since authority cannot see it, this responsibility was dropped on our shoulders as usual. This is not the first time that I am assigned the role of a hero, although I do not like it very much, but I guess I have no choice. Apparently I have to send more fools straight to hell. I have the feeling that the devil himself will not be especially happy seeing the three of them at his front door.
