(The toxic air of the Wrestleworld Carnival isn’t too pleasant to many people, but to some, it’s just part of it’s charm. DOMINION has held their event there many times and no one seems to be complaining. The scene opens to the camera viewing different rides and attractions. Most are old and broken, but some are still functional and are definitely safe for children to get on. The view then zooms to a tent with “Madame Hope” written on it’s sign. And inside that tent, Rosanna Vendetta is shown with a hood over her head and a cloak over her normal clothes, showing that she is dressed for the role of a fortune teller)
Rosanna Vendetta: Welcome, everyone! Welcome to the humble tent of Madame Hope! It’s exactly as it sounds -- I have been bestowed an incredible gift to see what the future holds!
Rosanna Vendetta: Oh, fine. I know what you’re thinking -- this is dark magic or whatever. Certainly shouldn’t be a thing especially for someone who believes in the things that I do, but you should know that I never chose to have this kind of power! I am just simply so naturally gifted that the universe and all its might has chosen me to foretell what the future brings! I cater to the desperate souls who are… Not doing so well… Those who are lonely and without any hope for the future… Those who feel that they just kinda exist to be a stepping stone for others without anything to show for it! This is Madame Hope… At your service!
(Rosanna Vendetta looks deep into the crystal ball.)
Rosanna Vendetta: Ah, it looks like I have my first image shown to me by the crystal ball! It’s… It’s about ARCADIA! Hmm… What is this… Oh, of course… It’s my brother Ares winning the Parabellum match and taking down everyone! Well, I mean, that’s not even surprising. Ares has proven himself to be worth more than the entire DOMINION roster, worth more than their current Champion. And now the only thing left to do is to win the Territorial Championship which is something he could easily do. Is it really the psychic abilities talking if it’s something so obvious? Let’s try something else….
(Rosanna Vendetta puts her hands down and tilts her head as she continues to observe the crystal ball.)
Rosanna Vendetta: It looks like we have another one… Another person… Some blonde guy that barely anyone has heard of. Known for crying nepotism when he’s the one who’s always hiding behind Architects like a little bitch in order to get his opportunities. I can see that this man really really believes in his abilities. He thinks he is special. He thinks that everything that’s happened in the previous months are just him preparing for something big. It’s none other than Jay Jones. I know. So many people want me to say that he’s going forward to a Championship soon, and that he’s going to be one of our best Champions in Wrestleworld, and I think that’s a great thing to hope for. No, it really is! Knowing that one day he would find his own strength and make it big, take the Championship to heights that has never been done before, I’m sure he’s got the attitude for it. But that’s just the funny thing about fortune telling. I can easily say something like that. You come and pay someone to tell you how amazing your life will be and these interesting people that you will meet, any sign that life is worth living in the future because it’s just so awful today! You look forward to how your career will go and if you will succeed, instead of doing something to earn that future right off the bat. Jay Jones is the type of person who is patient and I truly admire that. He is so patient that he is willing to wait for something grand to happen without realizing that life is already happening around him. As he arrogantly brags about how the peak of his career is still over the horizon, he doesn’t even realize that all of the experiences that he has gone through IS the career that he would claim that hasn’t bloomed. But to answer everyone’s question -- Jay Jones will still be the same pathetic rat that’s just digging for scraps even after ARCADIA.
But what about Graham Baker? Surely he has potential! Surely he has a big bright future in Wrestleworld! He really is doing his best right now and he has every chance to win this match as much as the next guy! I appreciate everyone’s concern, but Graham Baker’s future is continuously working towards a hopeless goal. I’m sure he has found success in various other companies that were so lucky to have him for more than a week, but everyone can see that as time passes by, the hype just dies down and he’s back to being the bust that we all know and love. I suppose the horrible thing about life is the picture in our head of what it’s supposed to look compared to how it actually is. People want to believe that they are always interesting, and that they will never lose their spark, but in reality, people are easily swayed and distracted by something else worth the attention. I am not undermining Graham Baker by any means, I’m sure his intentions are in the… sort of right place… all I’m saying is he has to push harder and so some serious work if he wants anything to go his way. Otherwise, he will only be remembered as that asshole who tried to mock Alessandro Devastation but slowly turned into his clone. I can see him causing all sorts of chaos, I can see him take people down. The only important thing is that I will not be one of them.
(Rosanna Vendetta looks a bit surprised at the next vision shown by her Crystal Ball)
Rosanna Vendetta: I didn’t think this would be possible… but it’s me! I see myself. I see Rosanna Vendetta as the person who overcame the odds and took the Key of ARCADIA home! I told you guys I was gifted. I told you that the universe has given me an advantage against all of my other opponents! Because, really, why would you bet on people that are weak and are falling apart? Why not give your faith to someone who is battle tested? Why not witness the true prodigy at work! No one else is capable of delivering results! No one can keep up with my accomplishments and track record alone! My future is clear, I am destined to own ARCADIA and become the star of its event and win the Four Tribulations match.
What a lovely future to look forward to.
(Rosanna Vendetta puts down the hood as she leans back on the chair and crosses her legs. She smirks at the camera.)
