| Character Development #2 : Let's see what future brings. 01.11.19 Miami, Florida*The video takes place in an apartment in the centre of Miami. On the big black sofa with white pillows sits a man with blond hair and a beard, dressed in a white shirt with undo top button and sleeves rolled up to the elbows, gray pants that are part of the suit and dark brown leather shoes. A silver watch and sunglasses complement his outfit. Arata sits in a comfortable position with his back leaning at the back of the sofa, with one of his legs bent and the other straight. On his left shoulder, he has ALPHA World Tag Team Championship and the Wrestleworld Shogun Championship one on the top of other, on which he holds one of his hands.* At Chapter 3 I did exactly what I promised you...I did all of you a favor by taking the symbol of this new world away from someone who only reminded of the past. I not only did you a favor, but I also started to build the empire, that Jaywalker thought about when he created this place. However, in his plan, Architects were to be the ones to take care of all this dirty job, but the truth is that it is not them who is responsible for this place, but the people who are the future of this business. But as you know when I talk about the "future" I mean selected people, because let's face it, but not everyone is able to withstand the pressure that it entails. Not everyone can build something out of nothing, and we must start with the foundations (Arata pauses for a moment ) Everyone will somehow contribute to the future success of this place, because everyone gives something from themselves, but there are only a few names that can take the leadership role in the locker room. And say what you want, but it can't be any other way.*Arata bites his lips.* As you can see I'm one of those people. Was it obvious? For me, yes, but many of you were negative about whether I could defeat Brian, but I did it anyway. I put the legend of this business down for a three count and now I'm standing here as your champion. But now, the only thing that left for me is to think who would join me at the top of the mountain? Harry Sterling? He will be the first one to try. Does he have what it takes to finish the job and tear this belt from the hands of the monster? I want to believe so, because I have been watching him closely from the first chapter and I must admit that he is impressive. However, you have to remember that Babayka is not a blonde with fake boobs, but someone of who you should be afraid in a different way than you are afraid of a higher-level opponent. One can say that I was lucky, that my Architect is a more mundane being, without diminishing Daniels, of course. So what I can say is good luck, Harry.*The man takes off his sunglasses and combs his hair with his fingers.* However, the European Championship is not something that I will direct my full attention to. Since I got this convenience of rest during the first PPV, I would rather use it to look at each one from Wrestleworld roster. Why? Because I have no idea who will be next to threaten my title reign. Matsuda? Violet? Dumont? Two of them are damn experienced people with many achievements on their list, and Violet is a crazy girl who has just made her debut, but she is dangerous anyway. What I want to say is that it doesn't matter when or where someone started, because in any case many of them will do everything to get what I have and the people I mentioned are just an example, because there are many of them. But I don't care how many people you throw in my way, because I came to this promotion with one goal. To make the wrestling industry get better and better every day and that's why I'm going to defend this belt like a fucking lion as long as I can. Maybe you think I'm a little crazy that I talk about it this way, but it's time to accept that Arata Asakura is a golden standard and Shogun Championship and the whole Wrestleworld needs me. Call it arrogance...Call it overconfidence...Call it how the fuck you want, but it still doesn't change the fact, that this beautiful belt is not going to change the hands soon (The young Japanese gets a look at the Shogun Championship ) I know that many people will have a different opinion about me, but people always have too much to say, even in matters that don't concern them. The first voices have already appeared about my success during Chapter 3. And I don't...I don't mean Claudia Michaels, whom I had the ‘pleasure’ to meet yesterday. I mean one-third of this fucking drama that takes place from the very beginning...I mean Tiberius Jones. And I said one-third, because it was never a matter only between him and Brian. Each time, Drake stuck his nose where he shouldn't.You probably wonder why I'm even talking about it. So let's get back to what I started, for a moment. Tiberius said the first champion was crowned too early. That Brian had failed as an Architect and brought them all shame. That the challengers will now think it's so easy to beat them (Arata shakes his head with a silly smile ) Do you even hear yourself, Jones? After all, it's a fucking bullshit that you blame a guy for losing to someone who was better that night. I was better and I beat him all by myself, without anyone's help, and what's more, I rejected yours when you tried to make a mess just because you had such a whim. I really wanted to believe that Architects are big boys, but as you can see the position doesn't make you responsible and set a good example. What’s more, the funny thing is that you accuse Brian of representing Architects in a bad way, but look better at what you do. What do you represent, Jones? That it's honorable to attack someone with the numbers advantage? That breaking all the rules is good? Not so cool when someone focuses on your mistakes, huh?People say that you crossed the line many times, but there is a difference in crossing the line and being just a moron. And unfortunately I can't look at you in a different way. Just like you will not be able to look at me differently than at someone who gained the belt too soon, but I will tell you one thing. My victory over Brian doesn't mean he's over...it just means I'm more than just a average competitor. And you would know that if you could look at things from different perspectives, because it opens your eyes. But I understand that close minded people more often have open their mouths rather than eyes.
*Arata looks at the floor for a moment and takes a deep breath.* Up to a point, I completely didn't care about this whole dispute, because the only thing I wanted was the Shogun Championship, but I wanted it or not, somehow I was involved in it. Could I leave Brian to let you two beat the hell out of him? I could...But I didn't do it. I didn't do it, because despite how he treated me at the beginning he just didn't deserve it. And that's why I'm going to watch your match carefully, Jones, or rather pay attention to Drake. I know Brian doesn't need me and he'll be fine, so I won't interfere until I have to. If I see that you are up to something, you have my word that I will not speak so politely. And you, Daniels, like it or not, but sometimes it's worth having someone to watch your back. Sometimes it's hard to fight the whole world on your own. You can take this as a favor from someone who just respects you and you owe me nothing.
So since everything is clear, all I have to do is count the hours to Violent Delights and see what the future brings and what my role will really be in all this. For now, I'm going there as a viewer, as someone who wants to get to know the competition and I hope it stays that way. However, if it happens otherwise, remember one thing, Jones, Drake, don't provoke the dragon, because you will burn. | |
