What were your favorite matches of 2019?

A lot of fantastic matches took place all over the wrestling spectrum this year from WWE/NXT to NJPW to AEW and so on, so which ones stood out the most to you? Feel free to say why you enjoyed them as well if you want.

Tyler Bate vs WALTER, Cody vs Dustin and Moxley vs Ishii are my top 3 in no order. I loved them all for different reasons so it's very hard to rank them.

I'm not particular sure what I would consider the absolute best but I'll name off my favorites (and probably add more later):

- Asuka (c) vs Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Womens Championship at the Royal Rumble
- Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kevin Owens vs Ali for the WWE Championship at Fastlane
- Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kofi Kingston vs AJ Styles vs Randy Orton vs Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber
- Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35
- Adam Cole (c) vs Daniel Bryan for the NXT Championship on Smackdown

Match :Cara Noir vs. Ilja Dragunov-2/3 Falls
Progress Wrestling Chapter 99 "With a Flake"

Rate: 10/10

While I may have issues with half of the stuff that Cara posts on his twitter, I can't help but respect the pure carnage that this man puts his body through-especially any match that he has with Ilja.

This match in particular was a very physically demanding one and made me wish for the upteeth time since I had my right knee rebuilt at 14 wish that I could've been able to become a wrestler myself so I could wrestle either of these two men because of the pure passion that occurs in this match.

1000% agree with WALTER vs. Tyler Bate. Exceptional match, one of the best I've seen in quite some time.

A taboo pick for me is Aleister Black vs. Cesaro from Extreme Rules. It's a dark horse match that showed the strengths of both guys. Exceptionally well done for the length of the match, and it had a flash finish which I think is sorely missing from WWE.

There's some really great matches from WrestleKingdom that I loved, that unfortunately is part of 2020. Maybe next year for those.
