| History:TBPBackground:Professional wrestling in Europe has always been a melting pot of various different styles, from strategic, technical catch-as-catch-can matches to hard-hitting brawling contests. The technical aspect of professional wrestling is one that has never gotten the spotlight it truly deserves even though it may be the most honorable of them all. A style in which you must rely on your mind just as much, if not more than your own body. A style in which physique alone cannot capture victory if someone smaller than you is capable of catching you in a deadly hold that becomes your downfall. Wrestleworld's European Championship does not overlook this style of wrestling, but instead celebrates it and embraces it. With it, only the most technically-sound and submission-savy competitors are invited to compete for it.Rules:- You can only win via submission (tap out, verbal surrender, or knockout/TKO)- There are disqualifications.- There are count-outs.- There are no ropebreaks. | |
