How do you feel about Live Shows?

Specifically in E-Feds. When I first joined E-Feds, live shows were a MUST. We did them not only for every Pay-Per-View, but every weekly show as well. Since then, live shows have become more for special occasions like PPVs or other big shows. Here in Wrestleworld there are obviously no live shows (we originally intended for there to be, but it's too tough to get PPVs finished on time without enough people to aid in writing it so I got rid of that), but I am curious about it.

So how do you feel about them? Do you believe live shows add something to the E-Fed experience? Do you think they're unnecessary? Have you ever enjoyed them or have they run their course for you by this point?

Maybe it's because I've been out of the loop for years, but I never remember live shows.

It feels like you'd sacrifice a lot of quality for having the prompt result. It takes so much work to the write the stuff, maybe it's worth more to not do the live shows.

Unless, of course, I'm completely wrong on what a live show is.

@colt -- Live shows basically is doing the shows on Discord (before they get posted) where theres an assigned commentator who will post matches line by line, like they would an actual wrestling match (Or maybe think of it as like a Radio show, except written). which also means we need to gather people to be online all at the same time, make sure they pay attention and react, we also risk troll post that would affect people's enjoyment, etc, though with Wrestleworld's community, i doubt any of you beautiful people would do "shitposts".

@Robbie -- Talking STRICTLY about Wrestleworld, I have nothing against it, but I prefer to not do it since I'm lazy to react and my last few live shows in OWA that I was actually active I was only interested in being there for my own match. Not to mention, that would also pressure you to make sure that you finish the ppv on time. I can see that the majority of our people ARE reading shows and know whats going on even outside of their storyline, they make posts on twitter, and react in the chat all the same and I love them for that (which also kudos to you for being a great storyteller and keeping them pulled in). I've been mostly talking about the downside and the extra effort, but I think a successful live show would make the shows more meaningful, surprise stuff (like PB's reveal, Havoc's make up tutorial in Tristan's blood, Jimmy/Akuma being different people) and comedic stuff would have a bigger reaction and more people would find more satisfaction on their wins especially if its a title match.

But IMO, I like the way things are now. The presentation doesn't matter to me so long as its all entertaining to read. I don't mind them, they do add to the experience, it's not necessary, and the last time I enjoyed a live show for a full show was your show back in our old efed and I was a defending World Champion.

Honestly, what Claudia said is what I'm thinking as well. I like the way things are now but if there will be a Liveshow one day, I wouldn't mind.

However, it seems Robbie is doing almost everything with the writing (and perhaps Claudia, Jay, and on occassions back-up writers?). I'd say the way things are now is what's the best for now. Even if the Shows/PPVs are late, no one complained about it, especially people enjoy being here because the scripts are great reads.

Just personal opinion, lol.

I honestly think that this is definitely exciting and somehow unites certain efed community. However, I realize that it is time consuming both for people who post show piece by piece and for people who are spectators. And there is also the issue of time zones, because it is impossible to please everyone. Either way, live shows have always been something interesting and fun to be involved from time to time, but I don't treat it as a requirement either.

I rarely made it to live shows, but I always enjoyed them when I did. So long as results are posted for the perpetually tardy such as myself, I don't mind them.
