(At the sound of being nice to meet him, a blood moonlight shines down to reveal Animus seated upon a chair at the top of the stage. Animus slowly stands up and walks towards the ring as the red spotlight continues to follow him.)

Gimmick Description:

Animus is a man of mysterious origin, some have theorized he is the son of Jaspora(second in command of the J-Dynasty Brand / Executive Assistant), others say an orphan, and some even claim he was raised in the Vatican by his parents working there. All that is known is he the one and only talent scouted out by Jaspora that was brought into the Wrestling Grotto.

Twisted and concerned with the current standards of his generation in the J-Dynasty, Animus is fanatic of the darker ways of the past and rectifying things by being a pure force of hatred like those of the past never could, let alone the cleaner presentation of those in the present. Some could say that Animus is insane, or has a complex, having a euphoric obsession with betrayal and submerging himself in things he hates as some sort of mad love for getting back at the world in a way only he could understand. What is for sure shown by how far we went as Raoul Jackson, Animus is a patient man with only malice in his heart, and refuses to allow his dark beliefs to be washed away by the hands of time.


The reason Animus wears a mask is because he doesn’t like how friendly his real face appears like(often being called "babyface" before growing out a beard) and he is most comfortable with it on, proclaiming it to be his true face and that it bestows him greater power with all the malevolence that is imbued within it.

^️Additional Notes about the Character^️

A southpaw

Some of his signatures are mutated versions of moves from former foes of the first generation of the J-Dynasty, for the hatred theme around the character.

His origins before wrestling school being unknown is Joker themed, I actually have always disliked Joker as a character so I felt it would suit the Animus theme for me to play/dabble around with something I wasn’t a fan of. The whole no one really knows his age, his parents, where he comes from, so on, and sometimes Animus might tell stories about his childhood in promos but who knows if he’s telling the truth, not as if Animus/Raoul is known to lie right?

Though he has never been caught on camera, rumour has it that he was the one who injured before their match at Kingdom Come and committed the battery Maggall was framed for in the past, as male number 3.

Just to avoid any confusion. Jaydayne Pendragon would not have recognized "Raoul"  because Pendragon was an already established wrestler who had special training at the Grotto, isolated away from typical students. Renee Jonae, Jonetta Stone, Valkyria Isis De' Villione(KD's character), and Maggall do know him, but the later two who were in WW just wouldn't care to report his presence as an issue. Whether Jaywalker knew him, that could be left to imagination/mystery.
