| Old Guard Sabertooth is seen a gloomy, smoke filled room. Tyndall effect is in full force as the beam of light passing through the smoke is visible and reflecting off Sabertooth. He has an expensive two piece suit on, while he stares down the camera. He has a smug look on his face, probably because of the way his opponent responded to him. Sabertooth believes that he has a mental advantage heading into Chapter Two. “Intensity!” Screamed Sabertooth with a smirk on his face. He continued, “That’s exactly what I wanted from Reno Dumont. No stupid excuses… No pathetic apologies… And certainly not a lame explanation. Reno, despite the brief outburst, I have forgotten about your actions from Chapter One. Sure, they do play a part in our match heading into Chapter Two. But I have moved on! I am not going to hold on to you for something as stupid as throwing your own partner out of the ring to get the victory, despite there being NO change in outcome. When people look back into the historical first show of Wrestleworld, they won’t know what you did. You’ll just be a name on that list along with mine and Jessica, as the victors of the match. And before you suggest that it’ll help you in the long run, let’s be real! Reno only has about a year left before he ‘walks away’ once again when he fails to make an impact here in Wrestleworld.” Scoffed Sabertooth. He shakes his head talking about Reno, to signify his disappointment. “What are you going to do when things don’t go your way, Reno? Let’s start with Chapter Two, when I beat your ass. How will you deal with that? Who will you deal with your son, Chris, asking you questions about your legacy? Reno, you have won plenty of titles back in the day. Good on ya! But those were YEARS ago and you’re not even relevant enough to be a talking point in the wrestling business. You DESPERATELY need your stint in Wrestleworld to work out, don’t you? Otherwise you’ll go down in your son’s eye as a loser. Something you failed to acknowledge when you clapped back. Reno probably plugged his ears so that he can ignore the reality of being a disappointment to his kids. He already STOLE a victory, which is certainly not something you’d like to teach your son. It’s already a mess and Reno knows it! So, he blissfully ignores it till it comes and slaps him across the face. Chris Dumont or whatever you go by, if you’re watching this, please tune in for Chapter Two because your father is nothing but a fraud. He is an old man desperately clinging on for a paycheck, while he pretends to be somebody he was YEARS ago. Which was evident because something I said certainly pissed him off! I touched a nerve, talking about the ‘Old Guard’. You know, people choose to get upset over things when it hits closer to home. Reno is afraid to admit that he’s JUST an Old Man, using his former glory days, to get one last kick out of this business. Just like the architects, I might add. Is the money running low, Reno? You CHOSE to walk away and be a family man and there’s nothing wrong with that. But you’re too far gone! Once you choose to walk away, you can’t just come back and expect everything and everybody to be the same!” Exclaimed Chris, raising his tone. He confidently dismisses the idea of Reno Dumont being on his level. “Reno, you don’t have to believe me. Chapter Two is in two days and in that time you will find out EXACTLY why you should have stayed the fuck away. You make fun of me for my size? Who big are you exactly? Because Draconis Balaur was a lot bigger than you and I stared him down in the fucking face and I brought the fight to him. I’ve battled giants, so size, in this context, doesn’t matter. You have ZERO advantages over me! You were on the shelf for four years while I was on TOP OF MY GAME! I have won championships everywhere I have gone and I have captivated everybody watching at home. That includes you! You were watching me on OWA and the crop of talent that they have brought you out! You admitted it yourself! So, of course you’d choose OWA talent to leech off for 15 minutes of fame. It may seem random to you, but deep down in your subconscious mind, you always knew what you had to do. You didn’t guarantee the victory for team…. We had already won! You literally threw me out and jeopardized the exact thing you are after! How stupid is that?! And you’re supposed to be a ring veteran? Please, give me a fucking break! Reno Dumont, you are clearly out of your element. If anybody is delusional, it’s you! Within one match, you figured out that you’re out of your element. So, you chose the biggest fish to get the most out of the little time you have left! It’s obvious! One moment you say you’d kick my ass, the other moment you’re kissing it on Twitter. Make up your mind, Reno! You WANT to get into my good books. You WANT me as your ally. Well, too bad because you burned those bridges and RUINED your chances of ever making it here in Wrestleworld. The fact that you’re in the main event after being a NOBODY for four years is all thanks to me! You can call me conceited all you want, but even YOU won’t be dumb enough to deny it. I got you the attention you desperately wanted, so do your best Reno. Make the most of your opportunity because it won’t come knocking twice.” Said Sabertooth, looking smug as he does. “It’s funny that you really think that your sacrifices hold a candle to my journey so far. Like I said, try having a father who didn’t support your dreams when you needed him the most. Try losing your best friend in a tragedy that could have been avoided if you didn’t fuck up in the first place. Try being in a maximum security prison for a crime you did not commit. These things would fuck anybody up and I am not ashamed to admit that I was a troubled man. Havoc didn’t spawn because of pain and suffering… He came into existence because I was weak. I blamed myself for everything and I felt defeated. But I am not that person anymore! I am not going to be defined by my past ANYMORE. I am here as Christopher Sabertooth, the wrestler. I am here to make an impact! Mr. Jaywalker’s Wrestleworld caught my eye for the unique things it had to offer. I can show how proficient I am with different styles of wrestling and get a chance to face some legends of this business, in the process. I say legends because they’ve had a huge impact on the wrestling world… But they have not been the center of attention for a LONG TIME. Heck, they have been out of it for so long that the people had to be reminded of who they were. Reno Dumont is on the same boat but doesn’t have the legacy to match. So, somehow he is even WORSE than the ‘Old Guard’ that he truly despises. Also, what the fuck is his obsession with my body? Let’s be real, he is jealous of my physique. Reno can question my sanity all he wants! At the end of the day, why would I want any of my opponents to know what I am capable of… What I am thinking of… What I am going to do. If my sanity plays a part in the unpredictability going into a match, I will take that as a win. I am not a man to be messed with. Reno Dumont, that’s exactly what you’re going to find come Chapter Two. You want me to hurt you? You want me to destroy the little shred of credibility that you have left? Sure! Be my fucking guest! You said it yourself, winning is the least of your concerns. Well, it’s my TOP PRIORITY. And trust me, I will do ANYTHING for it... ANYTHING!” Said Sabertooth with a smirk on his face. His smirk slowly turns into a threatening glare. The camera zooms in on his eyes and is followed by weird flashy imagery followed by a static to end the scene."LAST REAL WRESTLER ALIVE!" | |
