Note: We may regularly update this page when more rules are implemented or changed.INTRODUCTION.This document, unlike the rest of the company information that you see within the site, is purely out of character (ooc) and it will elaborate on the guidelines and rules that we all must follow in order to make this e-fed and its operations run smoothly.
“Director” refers to the owner and main writer of Wrestleworld, Robbie V.
“Architect” refers to the board members of Wrestleworld. (Jaywalker, Chad Kennedy & Claudia)
“Personnel” refers to chosen and trusted server moderators and back-up writers.
“Client” refers to you, the members and the active promoers.
“Guest” refers to people that are not part of the Wrestleworld e-fed but are active in the Discord Servers and/or the forums, site visitors, as well as former members of Wrestleworld.
EXPLAINING WRESTLEWORLD.Wrestleworld is a roleplay/promo-based E-Fed created to introduce the Architect System for its Clients to experience. The E-Fed starts off with four vacant Championships handled by “Architects”. Architects act as the “GM/General Manager” characters, initially promoing roles and each with varying expertise depending on the Title, who will then seek challengers that could potentially become Champion. If the Client gets defeated, the Championship will remain vacant. If the Architect gets defeated, then the Client will be crowned the first Champion, and the Architect will become an NPC (unless needed for future storylines). The Champion will then defend the Title, with challenger/s and stipulations still handled by the Architect. You may have a preference for what title you want to come after, but keep in mind that no single client is limited to one division or championship, and just like an ideal wrestling company, each client must work their way up in order to get their title shot, and there may be storylines in between.
SIGN UP GUIDELINES.To sign up, simply copy and paste the required template as seen in the “Genesis” section. You may format the signup information as you see fit as well as add some additional details about your character but make sure to still keep it complete as it will give us an idea of what your character is all about.
There is a maximum limit of two (2) characters per handler. For tag teams, two characters of the same handler will not be allowed for fair judging. If two characters of the same handler are together in a stable, expect that they will not be booked together in matches. Do not create a stable without permission.
Clients are highly encouraged to choose a Wrestler/MMA Picbase for their characters. You may use a non-wrestler (like artists, musicians or actors), but keep in mind that these are subject for approval. Wrestleworld as an E-Fed uses graphics work for banners, posters, match cards, and more, so we would rely on good pic sources for these graphics. You may ask any of the Architects for approval on your non-wrestler pic base. The key thing that you need to know is that your pic base must have various renders, or at least good quality full-body pictures that can be used. In addition, real wrestling companies like WWE or AEW do not exist in the Wrestleworld canon. Everyone’s encouraged to be original with their characters and to refrain from outright copying a real wrestler’s gimmick or moveset as your own.
SHOWS AND EXCLUSIVES.The Wrestleworld “universe” is a completely fictional environment where there are territories for each Architect and two main arenas where shows and exclusives happen on a bi-weekly basis. The main show is the Wrestleworld Chapters.
If you are booked on a regular Chapter, the promo limit is 2 and there is no word limit. This is where the shows and main storylines happen, and the shows are posted in full commentary/script format and are located in “The Heaven’s Arena”. The secondary show is Wrestleworld Dominion.
For Dominion, the promo limit is 1 and there is no word limit. This follows also a full script format where the locations rotate in each territory of an Architect and the Clients booked in it are to follow rules of the Architect that owns the territory (ie. Babayka’s Wrestleworld Carnival will have submission-only rules, etc). Every three Chapters, we then have a Pay-Per-View event.
On Pay-Per-Views, the promo limit is 3 and there is no word limit. Like the Chapters and DOMINION, this is posted in full commentary/script format and is often the conclusion of the Chapters beforehand and a preview of upcoming feuds. Throughout each promo cycle, there will be exclusives posted (Wrestleworld Insider, EpiCenter, etc) to develop more on the storylines, rankings, and feuds not seen in the Chapters. No promoing is required for these Exclusives.
PROMOS AND ROLEPLAYS.All clients are required to post their Promo/Roleplay in the “Paradise” section of the site. We will provide a countdown clock in the website so you can see exactly how much time you have to promo, and at the same time, we will do our best to notify it on Discord too when it's nearing deadline. DOMINION's deadline is Thursday of the cycle's end and Book 2 Chapters is normally Friday of the cycle's end. Do get creative and know when to not drag your promos on. In addition, please refrain from any OOC comments on promos, whether it is an ooc personal attack to your opponent to stir drama or simply excusing that you didn’t have enough time to work on the quality. Let the work speak for itself. In addition, a 48-hour rule is also enforced. You may post a second promo 48 hours after the first promo if your opponent hasn’t responded yet, so long as you have not reached the maximum promo limit.
Character development promos are not required. It’s more of a “for fun only” section of your promos and will not affect the results of your match. You can introduce your character to Wrestleworld if you are new, or express your thoughts on Wrestleworld based on what’s been happening in the Chapters or Exclusives. We also have a map that you can utilize for potential promo scenes. Get creative with them. In-Character Twitter pages are also not a requirement, but if you happen to have one, we do encourage to tweet about Wrestleworld using the
@Wrestleworld19 tag to get us notified so that we can retweet them to include in the twitter feed.
PROMO JUDGING.Promos are judged primarily on the quality of the writing. But do keep in mind that we are in a competitive environment, and there’s just not enough wins for everyone. You will win some, and you will lose some, and that’s just the way storytelling works, and all we hope for is that you trust our process because, in the long run, the consistency of your activity and the quality of your writing work will not go unnoticed. So if your first move after a loss is to quit altogether or throw a fit, then this may not be the E-Fed for you. If you disagree with a decision or feel like your character is left behind, please don't hesitate to contact our Director or any of the Architects. As long as you are respectful about it and not excessive and rude, I'm sure that we can work something out to accommodate you and help your character progress.
ACTIVITY AND INACTIVITY.We do encourage forum activity for members by creating interesting topics in the discussions section or answering the ones that are already there. We also have a Discord server, which is the primary way to connect with the staff and other members, we’d also love if you joined it. If you will be inactive or won’t be able to post a promo before the deadline, please DM or PM any of our personnel or architects ahead of time so we know to not book you in upcoming shows. If you do not post a promo after 3 bookings (without notice), your contract will be moved to the inactive graveyard until you notify us that you intend on being active again.
GENERAL RULES.No drama. No bullying. It’s plain and simple. Wrestleworld will not be involved with any kind of drama whether it is within the community or other E-Federations, so much so that we are more than willing to remove/fire the individual/s that are instigating and participating in these types of tension and drama. Any of the Architects will have full rights to kick or ban problematic individuals from the server whether for a certain period of time or permanently. We would be greatly appreciated if Wrestleworld doesn’t get involved in any issues that may negatively affect its growth as an E-Fed. Let’s all continue to do what we love, and let’s all respect each other. Have fun and enjoy your stay!
Welcome to Wrestleworld!
