We all obviously know what Scene promos are (literally a promo that features a scene), though I'm not sure if the proper term would be "Traditional" or not for the other, but obviously I mean normal promos that are really just talking without all the bells and whistles of a Scene Promo.

I prefer scene promos if they're actually well-written and/or apply to what's being said. I write them to help give a better idea of my character and, if it's not obvious by how they talk, what sort of person they are.

It depends. I remember in OWA when it was still a weekly e-fed, I would highly prefer to do just talking instead of setting up scenes. I would rarely have scene promos, and if I did they felt like a bitch to make. But in a bi-weekly efed (with promo limits), I could actually take my time with the promo and write it however I want, which mostly includes a scene in it. I prefer writing with a scene, but I also love just straight up addressing my opponents... I guess in conclusion, it doesn't matter to me, it just depends on what timeframe/limit I'm given. Who knows what I'll do with Claudia, I'll find out when it's time to promo.

I also want to add that for people like Claudia who is a wrestler in her bones and a trash talker, straight talking makes more sense unless there's a point in the scene.. Roxy however since she has a certain gimmick (spoiled brat, dollhouse member, merch-selling) it fleshes out more with scenes.

Traditional promos. I do scene promos once in blue months though, lol.

I want to get more into doing scene promos. I feel like they add some extra spice to a promo. To take it from great, to memorable. Amazing scene promos are remember more often than amazing standard promos for a reason after all. Also scene promos allow you to play around with your character a bit more, flesh them out. Make them feel more like real people. Basic answer, I'm leaning more towards the side of scene promos now.

I've done both but I prefer writing scene promos. When it comes to reading promos it doesn't really matter. Scene promos help deliver non-verbals and allow room for world building that can set the tone for a character. It's harder to do that with solely dialogue. It's not impossible, but the bells and whistles of a setting and a world around you can help convey things that a mere speech can't. Doing solely monologue styled promos tends to get monotonous for me, but again I have read people who can pull it off each week and deliver something unique each time, and I find that extremely impressive.
