Can you Guess Who? It’s a mystery!
Cash: Does your person have a… Chance of winning?
[The camera shows Cassius Corleone - dressed in a white suit - seated across a small table in a dark room. Upon the table between the camera’s point of view and Cassius is a set up game of “Guess Who?” as Cassius has several pieces still standing on his side while trying to guess who the person is on the camera’s side. The camera shakes in a “no” motion as Cassius sees and flips a piece down.]
Cash: Interesting… This is tough, this is tough… So many options. It’s hard to sift out just one. Ya know, I’ve had a lot of fun with the games we’ve played, Violet. I know I’ve called you a lot of bad things throughout our time… Whore, bitch, cunt - probably worse. And don’t get me wrong, they were all very accurate, but I don’t feel the need to use those words like that against you anymore. I don’t know what it is… Maybe I feel something deep down in me. Maybe you’ve changed me, Violet.
[Cassius quickly flips another piece; eliminating it without even bothering to ask anything descriptive regarding the one from the camera’s point of view.]
Cash: I almost feel dirty just saying that. It feels like I’ve cheated on my Cherry Blossom or something with how much joy I’ve taken out of playing with your body, Violet, but the truth is that when this all started between you and I - it was simple revenge. An eye for an eye and all that good stuff, ya know? You were sent a message a long time ago at King of the World. One that you should have understood and never bothered to come back here, but you did, and you did something that was simply unforgivable. Ya gave me no choice, Violet. I had to make you suffer. I had to humiliate you. And that’s exactly what I did. A second hasn’t gone by where I’ve ever believed you were capable of stopping me, and rest assured, I’d be putting every dollar on myself right now if I were to place a bet of who’s walking out with the W and who’s walking out of this company come Sunday. But rest assured, Violet, all your futile little efforts weren’t in vain. I promise you that. I’m not a guy who’s gonna bullshit ya like your friends - both in and out of your head - will. This all started with just hurting you, but now it’s become something much more special to me. I feel like you’re the only true friend I’ve ever had. I know, it sounds sappy, but Violet, you need to understand… You’re the first one that’s ever lasted this long. I mean, let’s be honest, I’ve pummeled you. I’ve beaten the absolute SHIT out of you week after week after week! And here you are! Still alive! Still physically able to keep going somehow! You’re a tough little bitch, and I respect that. I’m not a guy who often admires his enemies, but you’re a special exception, little girl. So when you’re packing your bags and fucking off to a new home, take solace in that. Take pride in knowing that you earned my respect, because I promise you, it’ll be the greatest thing you ever achieve.
[Cassius looks down at the still up pieces on the board in front of him - almost with a look of disgust visible on his face. He starts slowly flipping pieces down seemingly indiscriminately.]
Cash: Everyone’s the hero of their own story… What a shame that you chose to be such a tragic hero. Things could have been different, Violet, but your entire existence is built off of bad decisions, be it by your parents for having you, by you for everything that got you to this company, or by the idiots in your head and in your little faction for being the final ounce of stupidity that led you to accepting this match. You may be tough and you may even be talented in the ring, girl, but you’re nothing but a fragile little rabbit under it all. A rabbit that didn’t know that she’s been led into this match by design, not by accident. All you’ve done is run right into a snare, so you know what comes next, right? You get caught, you get killed, you get skinned, you get cooked, and you get eaten. And then the world moves on and forgets about you. Your so-called friends in World’s Finest - you think they give a shit? You’re just a replaceable piece of their shitty machine, Violet, nothing more. Even your girl Steph Matsuda didn’t give a damn about you facing the brink of your career against a guy you’ve lost to numerous times in a row. Instead she was busy thinking about nothing but her own match. That’s how the world is, Violet. You fooled yourself into thinking there really is such a thing as true friends. Yet, while I have my Sakura, who’s gonna be in YOUR corner? No one. They’ve all got their own business to attend to. Steph Matsuda is probably busy planning our her Championship victory party while you’re facing the lowest point of your life, and that’s saying something considering what a fucked up life you’ve led up to now. Everyone only cares about the bottom line, girl. Steph isn’t your friend - she’s your boss. She got the American Dream Championship, so what more does she need with you? Absolutely nothing. That’s business. And I know a lot about business.
[Cassius continues to flip the pieces down as he speaks.]
Cash: Hell, I’m more of a friend to you than Steph has ever been. I’m not fooling you. I’m not tricking you to get what I want. My intentions are clear as fucking day, wouldn’t you agree? I’m gonna hurt you, and I’m gonna get you kicked right out of this company. I’ve been real with you since this fun began, and the sad truth is that the only one who’s gonna miss you when you’re gone is me. But rest assured, you WILL be gone. All this has just been a bonus for you to truly appreciate all that you’re gonna be losing the moment you accepted this match, but it’s too late to back out now. You’re in the snare, little rabbit, and you know you won’t be getting out alive. You accepted this match because you’re sick and frustrated with how much I’ve terrorized and tortured you and your buddies. But that’s a lie, isn’t it? The truth is you just wanna beat me. You want it more than you care to admit. I bet it gets under your skin and drives you up the walls to know just how many times in a row you’ve failed to stop me. How much of an utter failure you’ve been since this little thing started between us. Now you’ve accepted a match with your career on the line and even allowed me to choose which personality of yours gets to face me? That’s called going all in, and for someone with such a shitty track record doing such a thing in a panic - let me tell you how it ends… The same way it always does. You’re going to lose, but you’re not gonna just lose, Violet. You’ll lose everything. Gone. Poof. Never to return, just like you. I can’t wait to break you. Maybe I can’t do so physically, but mentally? Oh mentally is a different ballgame… Because I know every freak in your head is gonna be crying the same tears as you when you realize it’s all over and you have to leave permanently. I’m gonna savor that. I’m gonna enjoy every moment of it. I wonder if you’ll cast out the one who failed you just like you’ll be casted out of Wrestleworld… But you’re gonna have to wait and find out who that failure will be, sweetheart. I don’t plan on telling you yet. Until then…
[Cassius comes down to just one piece left in front of him. He rubs his chin; thinking on if he should try to end the game. Instead he slaps the whole game off the table as it can be heard crashing to the ground nearby.]
Cash: You can just keep guessing.
[Cassius smirks and chuckles as he stands up from the table and walks off while the camera slowly fades to black.]
