BOUNTIES - Episode 3 Empty
PostSubject: BOUNTIES - Episode 3   BOUNTIES - Episode 3 I_icon_minitimeSun Oct 27, 2019 8:07 pm

(Quick flashing imagery of jail cells, gallows, and old, worn “Wanted” posters are shown. The camera cuts to the site of someone creating a new Bounty sign; putting the final mark on it as they brand it onto the sign with a hot iron. The camera cuts to a shot of the sign as the theme for “Bounties” - an organ rendition of “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi - begins to play)

BOUNTIES - Episode 3 ARzuQ_5oZMMzz4I-HenrFzcMngGQkR-B-riR6gm5S_46pRBM2hI7clBd0I-lMPJ4VUlrFXR2lxRsfVDYTWfXw7uipUnr9AmS_tYEFHpbPGbl5MLbNmmpuRjMvfKqreEqX9LEYkwt

(The camera pans away from the sign to the left to reveal a shot of the inside of Wrestleworld Studios - made up to look like a graveyard with fog where Jack Develin is shown posing with a smirk on his face, dressed up in a Devil costume; complete with red paint on his face and two devil horns on his head. He raises an eyebrow as he stares into the camera)

Jack Develin: Hello, hello, hello…. I am your beloved Host, Jack “LITERALLY The Devil” Develin. Halloween is just around the corner, and you can already feel an aura of eeriness filling the air, but worry not - the only “monster you have to fear around here is yours truly and his meticulous judgment. So rest assured, this is anything but a trick, but it’s certainly the best treat you’re getting all week. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Wrestleworld Bounties.

(Jack Develin walks to the right to reveal two tombstones in the graveyard; one labeled “Chloe Leuthard” and one labeled “Harry Sterling”. Jack touches the top of Chloe’s tombstone and lets out a sigh while thunder is heard)

Jack Develin: This one hurts, not gonna lie. You were gone before your time, Chloe, but unfortunately I have to be as impartial as they come, and that includes making the tough decision to remove you from Bounties after not competing at Chapter 3 and letting Jacob Senn get the better of you when things got physical. It’s nothing person, I promise you. But I know someday you will rise from the grave and return to me on Bounties. However, even when there are dark clouds… There is one silver lining. Harry Sterling is GONE! Gone, gone, gone! See ya! Sayanora! Bye-bye! After a SECOND consecutive show without a match, Harry thought he’d play the tough guy by ignorantly just waltzing into Babayka’s “Carnival” to officially accept the invitation for a match at Violent Delights for the European Championship. I think Harry has been watching way too many horror movies lately, because I assure you that bravery doesn’t overcome the monster that is Babayka! No matter how strong your will is, it certainly overshadows your brain if you thought THAT would pan out. Harry Sterling not only fell victim to Babayka, but also fell victim to Bounties as well. Could he return? Might he even reach the top spot if he overcomes Babayka and becomes the European Champ?

(Jack Develin bursts into laughter)

Jack Develin: Fat chance! Keep dreaming, kiddo. But anyway, enough with the tootsie rolls and the suckers and mini candies - we want the GOOD stuff! We want the REAL loot! So let’s not waste anymore time and jump right into it, shall we?

(Jack Develin smirks as he presents the screen behind him as fog disappears while a CG axe comes flying to land on the revealed Bounty poster)

BOUNTIES - Episode 3 UEPqgvY

Jack Develin: We may have lost a pretty face in Chloe Leuthard, but we gained a new pretty face in one Crazy Violet for our coveted Number 5 spot on Bounties this week. And how perfect is it that she lands here with Halloween right around the corner, because this chick happens to have a whole insane asylum in her head! For the past several weeks, Crazy Violet has been certainly one of the most… Colorful characters to come out of the woodwork for Wrestleworld, and one that’s wasted no time making a name for herself. Not only has she shown a ton of heart and skill, but those personalities may be as much of an asset to her as a liability with all the different styles she’s capable of because of them. Now some of you might be wondering where Draconis is and why HE isn’t the Number 5 spot on Bounties this week. Now trust me, I get it - I’d get any complaints coming this way, but you have to understand that YOUR way of thinking is the wrong way of thinking. Now the last thing I’d ever want is for someone like Draconis Balaur looking to put my head on a spike for snubbing him from Bounties, but if you ask me, Crazy Violet’s victory over Stephanie Matsuda was more impressive than Draconis’ demolition of Chad Kennedy. Sure, Draconis easily dropped Kennedy, but I think he toyed with him and didn’t do nearly as much damage as he could have, and could have even simply won the match 10 times faster if he HAD been trying. Not to mention his manager, Vladislov, got himself involved in the Violet/Matsuda match, but interference or not, Violet pulled out all the stops and captured a huge victory over a ring general like Stephanie Matsuda for her first wrestling match victory PERIOD. However, she’s got a whole lot more on her plate as far as Violent Delights is concerned. She fought her way to Number 5 this week, but will she still be here next time by beating Matsuda AND Draconis?.... I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

(The poster is covered by dozens of bats who suddenly disperse as a CG arrow is shot at the next revealed poster)

BOUNTIES - Episode 3 FEAogRg

Jack Develin: How the mighty have fallen… Sorta. Last time I’m sure you all remember that Christopher Sabertooth managed to climb all the way to Number 2 here on Bounties after a huge and brutal victory over Reno Dumont in a match under “Outlaw Rules”. Now it’s not necessarily that Sabertooth did anything WRONG to drop down a couple spots to Number 4, but I can’t say he did much of anything at all as he partook in an invitation to Claudia Michaels’ “Great American Bash” which was a fantastic party, I should add. And yes, by the end of the night, Sabertooth had proven to have done enough in Wrestleworld to impress Claudia and garner a spot in a huge 5-Man Ladder Match at Violent Delights to officially select the first competitor to challenge Claudia for the American Dream Championship. While not taking a loss in a match will certainly help benefit you and keep you on Bounties, not doing much else - at best - will keep you here, but definitely lower if others manage to prove their worth a bit more. Sabertooth has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that he’s a force to be reckoned with - no doubt about it whatsoever. The guy has proven it all across the world and throughout multiple different companies. Wrestleworld hasn’t shown to be any exception to that at all as he’s 2 for 2 in matches, but it’s safe to say this Ladder Match at Violent Delights is his biggest challenge of them all, and happens to be against four men that are just as hungry and TWO of which also happen to be undefeated so far. He may have fallen down to Number 4, but that means practically nothing in terms of what a win on November 3rd would for him. Now if he CAN pull it off - that’s another story. We’ll see how it goes.

(Blood splatters all over the poster to make it disappear. The blood drips away to reveal the next poster as a CG machete cuts into it)

BOUNTIES - Episode 3 Xnsj9pD
Jack Develin: Now THIS is what Bounties are all about, if you ask me. Fresh blood showing up in Wrestleworld and making an emphatic statement unlike any other. Jordan Rattler has no doubt made his name well known in other companies, but when it came to Wrestleworld, he was nothing short of an unknown to many. He wasted no time showing off his incredible athleticism, and when you combine that with the mentality of a winner, the look of a star, and the patriotism to desire a Title as prestigious as the American Dream Championship - you get the best debut we’ve seen in Wrestleworld period. At Chapter 3, Rattler overcame the odds and defeated SIX other hungry competitors who all desperately wanted to make a name for themselves by climbing the Ladder and pulling down the Briefcase that hung over the ring, and all while Claudia Michaels and her invited guests watched from her custom balcony. The pressure was on unlike any other, and you know how pressure goes, right? Some crumble under it, and others thrive. It takes pressure to form coal into a diamond, and a diamond certainly emerged on Sunday when Jordan Rattler pulled the Briefcase down. However, the Halloween season must have inspired Claudia because what Rattler got when he opened that Briefcase looked like more of a trick than a treat. Instead of a Championship bout, he got a ticket to a SECOND Ladder Match to finally decide the man who will get that coveted Championship shot. You can imagine the humiliation and anger he was feeling, but he’s gonna have to channel all of that into another victory if he wants to stay where he is and perhaps climb even higher next time Bounties rolls around.

(Lightning strikes the poster to burn it away. A second strike of lightning hits the screen to reveal the next poster while a wolf can be heard howling)

BOUNTIES - Episode 3 4NZzgaK

Jack Develin: For the first time in Bounties, our leader has fallen. Tristan Killebrew - who led Bounties at the Number 1 spot for two consecutive episodes - has finally been usurped and dropped down to Number 2. Although through no fault of his own, Killebrew - much like Sabertooth - was not placed in a match for Chapter 3 and was instead invited to the “Great American Bash” party thrown by the beautiful Claudia Michaels. He too joined the Ladder Match at Violent Delights for a shot at the American Dream Championship, and considering he’s undefeated at the moment, he could very well climb right back into his Number 1 spot with a victory. Of course, a victory is much, much easier said than done. I’m sure we’d all like to believe that this is where Killebrew finally overcomes his obvious fear of utilizing weapons to win what is sure to be a hellacious bout, but… Well, you’ve seen it firsthand. He may have all the talent in the world and has proven in both matches that he’s an athlete unlike any other, but right now on the road to potentially contending for something like the American Dream Championship, well… I think if he were to fail to win at Violent Delights, it would be a blessing in disguise for him. Obviously everyone wants to win a match as big as that, and obviously everyone wants to become a Champion, but Tristan Killebrew - regardless of how talented he may be - has shown that he has a psychological roadblock preventing him from truly utilizing the “Outlaw Rules” that Claudia Michaels is so fond of. We’ve even seen the disappointment on her face whenever he refused to use weapons of any kind to potentially win himself the match. And now he’s in a LADDER Match? I’m not liking how that’s looking for him. A win could catapult him back to Number 1, but he better hope he overcomes what’s holding him back or he will no doubt fall victim in that Ladder Match.

(The CG zombie hands rise up to rip apart the previous poster the camera shows a real poster rise from the graveyard next to Jack Develin while a woman’s scream can be heard)

BOUNTIES - Episode 3 69TAWlC

Jack Develin: Okay, really - is anyone at all surprised? Is it even a question? Anyone? Anyone? No, I didn’t think so. There’s not a single doubt in anyone’s mind right now that this is exactly where Arata Asakura belongs. Arata has successfully climbed through the ranks here on Bounties over the course of the past 3 episodes, and it paid off brilliantly for him here on Episode 3, where he has finally taken his rightful spot at Number 1 to become the Most Wanted man in all of Wrestleworld. For any of you jokers out there acting like you don’t know, or for those of you who happen to live under a rock, allow me to inform you exactly of what brought this man to the very top of the food chain. At Chapter 3, Arata Asakura became not only the very first competitor to get a shot at an Architect’s Championship, but simultaneously became the competitor to do so SUCCESSFULLY when he emphatically defeated Brian Daniels to become our first ever Shogun Champion. Now is this just a case of being in the right place at the right time? Was Brian Daniels off his game due to some of his focus being on his Violent Delights Unsanctioned contest with Tiberius Jones? Quick answer: It doesn’t matter! None of any of that matters, because the only thing that rings true is that Arata pulled off a massive victory unlike any other and completely stole the show to put all eyes on him, even as we head into Violent Delights where Arata himself doesn’t even have a match. But Hell, who needs a match when you can sit back and rest comfortably as the Champ? Not only did he win that match, but he has yet to even lose a match here in Wrestleworld as he joined Christopher Sabertooth and Tristan Killebrew with two wins and no losses. Both of those men have been dominant, but Arata Asakura just rose above them both and everyone else here in Wrestleworld to make the statement of a lifetime. I’m sure maintaining his spot at Number 1 only slightly comes second to making sure he keeps that Shogun Championship around his waist, but for now, Arata is the absolute best of the best and continues to show why he could even potentially become the face of Wrestleworld. But as we all know, becoming the Champ puts a big fat target on your back, so Arata better be on the look out for others coming to challenge him and turn that dream-come-true into a nightmare.

(Jack Develin walks through the graveyard as all five Bounties Posters appear on the screen, covered in cobwebs. Jack stops and smirks as he looks at the camera)

Jack Develin: Just like that, ladies and gents, this week’s edition of Bounties is in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight. Things seem all too stable right now, but Violent Delights is just around the corner, along with Halloween. Strange things have been going on and who knows what Bounties could look like when the smoke has cleared from the sadistic battles we’re sure to witness at Wrestleworld’s first ever Pay-Per-View event. Even MORE than ever before, because while things seem clear as day right now, you can just feel the storm clouds rolling in to shake things up as we witness Ladder Matches, Unsanctioned Matches, Triple Threats, Grudges settled, and Championship bouts. For all of those competitors - this isn’t just any ordinary show. Hell, has anything we’ve seen here ever been as simple as “ordinary”? Get real, this is Wrestleworld, and we’re anything but ordinary. This is about survival for every single competitor, and you can bet regardless of the season, they won’t be showing any fear. But perhaps you will when you witness the death-defying stunts they pull off to prevail. Perhaps you will get a scare out of what you see at Violent Delights, and why not? It’s Halloween time, and everyone is entitled to one good scare. That’ll do it for Bounties this week, ladies and gentlemen. I am your Host, Jack Develin, and I’ll see you again very soon.

(Jack Develin smirks one more time before stepping back into the fog behind him until he disappears. The sound of thunder erupts one more time before suddenly cutting to black)
